On March 17th, 2011 we will commemorate the ten year anniversary of the triumph of protesting community members who were forcibly removed from the Baths before the building was boarded shut by City Council. Due to their persistence, the last standing original baths in Glasgow was saved from demolition. We will also be celebrating the progress made over the past decade in restoring this architectural gem to the community – and in that spirit we will raise funds for the cause through the sale of fine art. ————————————————— A silent auction of works by local and international talent will take place opening Thursday night at 7pm and closing on Saturday at 6pm, followed by the live auction of works by the prominent artists listed above beginning at 7pm Saturday.
