The Fringe Summer Exhibition 09 is a week long showcase of contemporary artworks by The Fringe members. The show is being staged at Hatfield Visual Arts College in Hatfield, Doncaster a specialist status college for the visual arts. Over twenty artists from The Fringe will be showing an eclectic range of current or recently completed artworks. Work on show includes; ceramics by Angie Hardwick, contemporary textiles by mother and daughter Susan Forbes and Naomi Cotrufo, contemporary glass by Hazel Burnham, designer bookbinding by Mandy Keating, photography by Rod Jackson, drawings by Doncaster established artists Adam Berry and Terry Chipp, paintings from Mark Monet and Davy Moakes and sculpture and digital media by Nige Clynick. Some artworks will be for sale. The Fringe is an artist led very diverse group of visual artists based in the wider Doncaster region. The group exists to promote and enhance the work of its membership and create a vibrant arts economy for Doncaster.
