The House With No Door is an exhibtion of graphite studies and atmospheric oil paintings by Brighton based artist Jake Spicer. The majority of the work shown in The House With No Door was completed in Devon in the servants quarters of a dilapidated 18th century house where the artist lived for three months with model Alexandra Gray completing the series of paintings and drawings, representing the disolution of a relationship and the tension of unrequited desire. The exhibition is a Brighton Fringe Festival and Artists Open House event, prints and orignial art works are available to purchase. For more information contact Jake Spicer at [email protected]
