An exhibition and residency by artist Gavin McClafferty in partnership with 6 households from Bisley, Gloucesteshires' flagship Zero Waste Village. During the residency samples taken from participants rubbish form part of a pseudo-forensic process extending the idea of profiling into portraiture. The resulting work examines the Zero Waste principal and how personal and cultural identity is simultaneously transmitted through rubbish. The month long residency, based at the Pavilion, Van Der Bren St, Bisley, culminates in a week long exhibition, during which the artist will create a colossal head in situ out of the accumulated 'samples' and local mud. This event is part of Gloucestershires Zero Waste Challenge Week:Jan 24th – Feb 1st 2009
