An exhibition of painting, print, sculpture, video works and site-specific installation in celebration of the centenary anniversary of The London Group. The London Group is a diverse collective of visual artists brought together by a desire to support their fellow practitioners and promote contemporary visual arts. Members of the Group share resources and inspiration, whilst still ultimately cherishing and celebrating ‘difference’ and personal artistic freedom. A hundred years from the Group’s foundation, this exhibition at PM Gallery & House will be the first in a series of events to commemorate this centenary year. Nearly 100 works by the majority of the current members will be exhibited in the gallery and also across Sir John Soane’s historic Pitzhanger Manor House. The exhibition not only celebrates the long history of the Group but also acts as testament to the continuing relevance of its work and vision today. EVENTS:Saturday 2 February at 2pm – Gallery Tour + Performance of ‘John’ by Lydia Julien, Saturday 2 March at 2pm – Performance of ‘Agnes’ by Lydia Julien. Free, just turn up
