This autumn The London Group celebrates its 98th year by staging its popular biennial Open Exhibition.This two part show has work by over 140 artists, with half the works selected from open submission by Jenni Lomax, director of Camden Arts Centre and William Feaver the art critic, painter and broadcaster. The combination of emerging and established professional artists is a longstanding tradition of The London Group Open and gives the show a unique flavour. Well known Group members include Frank Bowling, Jeff Lowe, Bert Irvin and Dame Paula Rego and guest exhibitors invited to show this year include Gillian Ayres, and Richard Wilson.
