A solo exhibition which offers the chance to dive into the submersive seascape paintings by Norfolk artist Claire Cansick. From large diptychs three metres long to framed charcoal drawings, the works are subtly formed in layered recessive colours depicting waves looming above floating figures represented by the swimmers outstretched legs. The is an element of danger in the compositions one which Claire describes as the perilousness of cold sea swimming, one which aids a mindful experience and demands respect of the power and unpredictability of this beautiful, untameable, wild scape.
