The Secret Life of Pencils explores the definitive processes involved within the medium of drawing, illustrating the journey from concept to creation. The exhibition brings together three regional artists, all of whom relay different narratives through combining pencil with paper. Their work ranges from delicate, detailed illustrations, to drawings inspired by everyday surroundings, to drawings illustrating the motion of witnessed dance performances. This eclectic mix of work represents the idea of drawing as a process, through which the artist expresses their creativity.
