An exhibition of recent oil paintings by Visual Artist and Arts tutor Marcia Brown inspired by her teaching practice.The role of teaching and learning are captured and explored via a dialogue with the viewer using the fundamental art elements.
I'm a visual artist and qualified arts tutor (P.G.C.E) I teach oil painting to adults and work with young people delivering art based workshops.I particularly work work young people in alternative education with challenging behaviour.
My personal artworks is figurative and is influenced by music and colour.I studied fine art painting at leeds Metropolitan University and gained a masters degree.I also won the Edna Lumb Travel Scholarship for painting.
