White Walls Gallery is pleased to present ‘The Topography of Time’, by Steve More, opening October 11, 2014.
Using materials such as billboard posters, wood and concrete, Edinburgh based artist, Steve More reveals the passage of time in the urban environment in his artwork. In his recent work, More utilises these materials in combination with the repetition of precise parallel lines thus creating an I.D. or fingerprint pattern, that further emphasises the idea of identification. The Topography of Time expands on the artist’s experimentation with the duality of identity and history.
This is More’s first show in the USA. He has previously shown in Amsterdam, Marrakech, London and Australia. He is also a member of the international art collective ‘Agents of Change’ with whom he collaborates on large-scale murals.
