Every year The Watercress Festival takes place in Alresford at the end of May. It is attended by approximately 15,000 a year and there are stalls, activities, events, competitions and music taking place all across the town. Thousands of the visitors to the event park at Ropley Station car park and get the Watercress Line train to the Festival because there is not enough space for everyone to park in Alresford. With so many thousands of people arriving at Alresford Station, The Maker’s Village will be in the large flat area around the station.
