An exciting new project has opened on 217 High Street, Swansea, showcasing a wide variety of art works.
This new creative centre for the arts aims to help regenerate Swansea High Street, supplying affordable art for, families and admirers, whilst retaining credibility with collectors. TheBLOC is run by Elysium Studio artists in conjunction with the Elysium Gallery, and Coastal Housing Group.
There is affordable art, high quality prints, contemporary paintings other original artworks in a shop and gallery setting.
Exhibitions change fortnightly, focusing on different aspects of their practise theBLOC aims to bridge the gap between artists and the public. Visitors to theBLOC are invited to pop in for a chat and a browse.
An eclectic range of workshops and art events are taking place which will be open to the public. TheBLOC opens 11am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Times may vary with regards to evening events. Details can be found on Facebook on theBLOCswansea.
