This exhibition features a range of work in different media from a group of artists that has a strong association with the School of Architecture and The Visual Arts at the University of East London. Many of the group lecture on programmes within the School or are current students on the Professional Doctorate Programme in Fine Art, or both. The fourteen artists exhibiting are:Gisel Azevedo, Martin Barrett, Matthew Chambers, Anne Daniels, Grenville Davey, Garry Doherty, Paul Manners, Kon Markogiannis, Pete Nevin, Patrick Oronsaye, Vassilis Pafilis, Hedley Roberts, Hideyuki Sawayanagi and Timothy Weston. These artists represent a diverse cultural mix reflecting the global community that East London now attracts. Their work ranges from Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Printmaking, and Digital Print to Installation. The show highlights a wealth of cultural and international perspectives, a well-travelled maturity and a broad range of considered and reflective working methodologies. Prvate View 5 February 6 – 8pm. Artists Forum, chaired by Eric Great-Rex 12 February at 2pm.
