Thomas Lamb’s third solo exhibition at Browse & Darby builds on themes of landscape, its transformation through the seasons, and our engagement with this transformation. Every picture begins with direct observation, of the artist’s native Lincolnshire, or of Japan or Norway. Lamb is concerned with the process of depiction and the way in which this integrates perception, memory, and imagination.
