‘Tidal Reach’ reveals the transformative effect of the tide and the endlessly changing light, on the mud flats and sand banks of the North Somerset coast, and forms a series of closely observed, muted and pared down compositions that explore the shifting relationship of beach, sea and sky, as the seasons change and the weather and tide constantly alter the shape of the beach.
