TIME, Maidstone Museum, St Faith’s Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1LH, 14th May to 25th June 2016
I’m currently working on a new series of collages that are made using stills taken from my recent film, In search of the unreal n.01. One of these, Unreality n.01 will be exhibited in this Making Art Work group exhibition in the lovely gallery space in Maidstone Museum. To whet your appetite, there’s a close-up shot of part of the collage above.
‘Time and memory are true artists; they remould reality nearer to the heart’s desire.’ (John Dewey). TIME invites you on a journey that explores the past, present and future of our history, memory and reality. Over 20 Kent-based artists offer a dynamic range of work that questions the nature of time.
The show can be viewed from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm, Sundays 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The museum is closed on Mondays.
