Kimbal Bumstead and Richard Taylor present ‘Two Men in a Room’, a two day exhibition at The Old Ambulance Depot showing work produced during a residency at Murieston Lane Studios. Building on their collaborative practice that has developed through annual exhibitions and performances over the last three years, the residency explores locations and alternative spaces throughout Edinburgh using photographic works, drawing and narrative texts. By exploring portraiture through self-identity and characterisation, and using off-site spaces in around the city, the work presented is site-responsive and sensitive to notions of collaboration. Two events will run alongside the exhibition offering alternative ways in to the project by developing live interpretation of the newly made artwork. Saturday 26th: An introductory performance and reading. 2pm (exhibition then open until 7pm) Sunday 27th: Artists Soup Kitchen, hot broth and discussion. 2-5pm (exhibition open 2-7pm)
