From Stones, a sandwich shop in Harehills, to Maureen’s, a Caribbean restaurant in Chapeltown. The focal point of ‘Urban Icons’ is people of these two communities, showing the diversity within the areas. An inspiring collection of portrait photographs, ‘Urban Icons’ involved hundreds of community dwellers and helped generate chance meetings between members of the two communities.
