Join Artist Mellissa Monsoon on either Saturday 21st or Sunday 22nd of October 1 – 3 pm at Phoenix Art Space (Project Space) in Brighton.
A workshop to turn sounds of symptoms from the human body into a collaborative work of art.
Throughout the workshop, you will hear sounds collected by Mellissa throughout her project Sense of Symptoms. During these workshops, you will react with art materials to the sounds that are played. Participants will collaboratively create a graphic score.
‘I will be sharing some sounds of tinnitus with you, with the hope that we can turn something debilitating into something beautiful’
Free workshop, booking essential. No previous artistic training is required; all ages and abilities are welcome. Audio ranges from singing bowls, underwater life, the human body and the environment.
