Come and help Castlefield Gallery celebrate its 25 years of exhibiting innovative contemporary art and supporting artists’ development.In collaboration with you, the party-goers, we will attempt to set the world record for the largest patchwork cake, there will be live music by Mayming, DJ’s, performance compering by Ms Coco LaVerne, Everyone We Ever Worked With – find your name on the gallery walls, Mr Scruffs high quality, organic and fair trade teas, drinks and cake will be provided and our special guest for the event is Peter Saville.The best amateur baker who creates Castlefield Gallery’s most imaginative 25th anniversary cake will be awarded a prize which has been kindly donated by Harvey Nichols. Everyone welcome but please R.S.V.P to [email protected]. Any uneaten cakes leftover from the party will be donated to The Big Issue in the North .
