‘They think they are Fallen Angels’. An installation of new work by Christine Kowal Post. In Paradise Lost, Milton’s fallen angel finds himself exiled in an icy landscape devoid of God’s warmth and love. Likewise Dante in his Inferno wanders into the frozen hell of the ninth sphere. Cast into an emotional and spiritual ice age where we hope technology will save us, we deny we are biological creatures enduring the desolation of existence, and instead believe ourselves to be fallen angels made in the image of God.
