Art Gene is pleased to announce the launch of ‘Welcome to Paradise’ a programme of events on Thursday 20 November at Art Gene Gallery, in Barrow-in-Furness at 7.00pm. The launch event ‘Its not As Rough as it Used to Be’ is the result of a collaborative residency in which Art Gene has worked with Manchester based artists collective Ultimate Holding Company (UHC). This launch evening forms the first part of a series of events running into next year centred around the title ‘Welcome to Paradise’, the starting point of a journey of discovery, a unique journey, which will identify and promote discussion around the neglected, unknown, built and natural ‘assets’ to be found in and around Barrow-in-Furness.
