WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
For Temi, drawing is used as a tool that translates observations, feeling and imaginings to create and explore her own worlds. “I’ve found printmaking is a great way of being less precious about work. The act of repetition in print frees the conscious brain and allows mistakes and unexpected results. You’re forced to tackle ideas from behind (literally) which leaves room for images to surprise you”
In Temi’s second workshop with us in the studio, she will be extending her monoprinting workshop. Materials are included.
Format: Our Thursday evening series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques. The creatives leading each workshop are young and emerging, yet each is working in a strong and accomplished way with their approach and materials.

Temi is an artist from London and is studying Fine Art at The Ruskin School of Art in Oxford.
