WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
In Harry Alexander’s second Thursday evening workshop in the studio with us, we will be working loosely with black ink and exploring mark making possibilities with a range of different implements. After a demonstration of the different qualities of india ink and regular pen ink (quink), we will be drawing from a range of images and objects, with a focus on experimental mark making, for example with reed pens, brushes and other implements.
Materials are included.Format: Our Thursday evening series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques. The creatives leading each workshop are young and emerging, yet each is working in a strong and accomplished way with their approach and materials.

BIO
Harry is a painter based in London and studies at City and Guilds School of Art. His recent paintings focus on blues musicians from the 60s and 70s.
