Join artist Emma Smith for an interactive afternoon exploring things that are better done together. To start the event we invite you to bring a rock, pebble or stone to contribute to the marking out of the event space at 2pm. Then throughout the afternoon there will be readings, recitations, storytelling, songs, tea and presents, and two special talks. Reverend Susan Johnson will be speaking about the history of partnerships and wedding vows; and David Baxter will be exploring building with local materials by and for the people of Bourn. The event is inspired by communal activities that took place in Wysing’s closest village, Bourn, during the 18thcentury; including collecting scarves to be distributed to people in need – so please bring any that you would be happy to give away!
