Euroart Studios celebrates its 9th Open Studios, showing an eclectic mix of high quality art – painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, installation, video, fashion & costume design, SFX sculpture, and Silent Auction. Euroart boasts an impressive collection of talented artists and surely merits past visitors’ comments such as “never have I seen so much quality work in one location”. Among the artists opening their studios will be Euroart’s founder Lorraine Clarke whose work was recently screened on a big screen on the London underground (1 of 20 winners of an international competition held by Body Of Art), ex-BBC News Correspondent and TV presenter Triona (Palmer), who works across a number of media re-interrogating the events (wars, famines, disasters) she witnessed as a reporter; Nigel Booth who was responsible for prosthetics & makeup in films such as Hellboy 2, and Karen Karmody whose fashion creations have adorned celebrities and beauty queens. Visitors will be also treated to Anne Teahan’s enchanting and magical paper sculptures, silent auction & more.
