A heart transplant recipient at the internationally renowned Harefield Hospital has created an exclusive collection of art based on his own personal experiences of heart disease and transplantation.
Artist and transplant patient, Namik Ozturk has produced a powerful and ambitious set of paintings entitled ?Permission to Live ? an extraordinary journey? which will be on show at the hospital from Friday 5th June 2009. The images fuse together emotion, shape and colour to depict Ozturk?s own personal story - from living with heart disease through to his successful heart transplant operation.
