Class of 2020: Shonagh Kelly
BA (Hons) Fine Art, University of Dundee, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.
“My degree show work is an exploration of aesthetics inside religious buildings. I focus on everyday and mundane objects that are usually completely forgotten and aim to ask ‘what are the commonalities between these different places?’ Transferring these objects as spatial fillers to focused models, I question their past and futures and invite viewers to contemplate what we worship and why.”
Degree show: The Duncan of Jordanstone degree show is taking place online for a year: www.dundee.ac.uk/degreeshow/2020/
