This dragon on the water featured lasers which created images and spelled out words in the green lattice. While my first response to this was to simply smile at its kitsch value, the sheer scale and relentlessness of the display starts to have a disorienting and giddy effect that verges on the hallucinatory. I find it difficult to say whether I liked it or not, but I am quite sure that it was compelling.
