The work incites a questioning and confrontation with purpose, thought and influence. Working with familiar non-precious materials; paper, thread, sugar, staples etc, allows for a relationship synonymous with mark, and an exploration in metaphorical value of the functional. The work aims to create a contemplative space for the viewer.
