December 2012. On a particularly cold and clear morning (-12°) I noticed how frozen moisture particles in the air sparkled and twinkled. They create a special optical effect around light sources called ‘gloriolas’ and look like halos. The phenomenon inspired the title of an ongoing piece I started during my residency at Wip:sthlm in 2009.
