I have developed my project by actively allowing it to evolve. By doing so, I have found myself returning to the walls & mark-making of Tapies. Here, Tapies explores assemblage. In making the ‘Last Shelves’ and ‘Final Paintings’ that you will one day see, I am exploring similar territories. Materials are important to me – as are the ways in which we as artists can use them.
