SHIi represents the internal space of the body or the inner chamber, container of the vital organs. It is essential to spend time inside in communication with the body and the self. ‘SHIi’ is one of the sounds made during Taoist mediation exercises and for me, is similar to the Om but more personal, as it is specifically to benefit the body.
The Taoists taught that the main organs involved in healing that are connected through the interpretation of the 5 elements and the 5 senses are the Lungs, the Kidneys, the Liver, Heart and Speen (includes the pancreas).
