I would recommend only wrapping the kitchen roll around your finger once. If you make this too thick, you will loose control of your pencil and it will be difficult to draw. Also, don’t make it too tight! You want to be able to take this off easily and this is a reusable tool that you are making! Once you are happy with the size, cut the end of the kitchen roll.
