Nudist Beach is a plaster painting on plasterboard (wall hung). It implies an obscurity and an ambiguity which resonates with the viewer. The title comes from a exploration into Fraisthorpe beach which is the location for a number of concrete anti-invasion defences yet used to be a nudist beach. It is this contrast between subtle and dense which has inspired this inert skin toned, brash piece.
