Pressing: this old press was designed for type, therefore it has a deep bed, newspaper (without staples) is used to pack it out. Then goes on the lino (face up) the print paper (dry) goes face down, more newspaper before the canvas lid is shut, the bed is rolled into the press and the arm pulled (twice) to apply the force of the press.
