Celtic Pattern, Geometry and Imagination
A three-day course with Adam Tetlow
This course will explore the interplay between traditional geometry and imaginative freehand ornament within Celtic Art from its Paleolithic beginnings through to Classical and Christian periods. Students will learn to draw and compose the traditional forms of knotwork and key patterns as well as the unique geometrical methods of compass drawn spiral patterns.
