I have been watching the television and found that the soap operas on the state channel CCTV8 to be about the easiest to follow. This one here is a military soap opera and it is relatively easy because the language they use a slightly more narrow vocabulary and everything is subtitled. I’m still swimming to be perfectly honest but there are a few more branches to hold onto here than there are with, for example, the game shows which I find pretty incomprehensible right now.
