A new partnership offering reciprocal discounts for a-n and The Design Trust members launches this week at the New Designers exhibition in London.
The Design Trust Start Up Day at New Designers on 27 June is an information-packed event for recent design and craft graduates. It includes themed panel discussions, short talks, and discussions with professional advisers. Also atteneding are a wide range of organisations and businesses from across the UK, as well as successful designers and makers.
a-n Artist+AIR member Claire Palastanga will take part in the afternoon panel discussion on business support and selling opportunities. Palastanga will provide information about the business development and sales opportunities she has created to progress her career as a ceramic artist. She will also talk about how a-n’s Artist+AIR membership has helped move her career forward and will highlight key resources on www.a-n.co.uk
She explains: “a-n has been a constant source of support and resources for me throughout my career. I regularly use a-n to research opportunities, and for advice on payments and insurance.
