We’ve been looking at the figures following Tuesday’s funding announcement by Arts Council England to get a picture of where the money invested in the visual arts in England is going.

While many organisations received standstill or even, in some cases, a slight drop in funding , there are some that have received significant increases. New Art Exchange Ltd in Nottingham benefited from an additional 70%, Site Gallery in Sheffield an extra 62% and John Hansard Gallery in Southampton an additional 34%, based on their annual awards in the previous portfolio.
