Cockpit Arts open the doors of its two studio blocks in Holborn and Deptford for festive shopping. This twice-yearly shopping event is the only time Cockpit Arts is open to the public, making it an exclusive opportunity to buy gifts from 140 craftspeople. Friday Night Lates events at both venues include live music and the chance to win a £50 Cockpit Arts gift voucher.

Bath Humbug Contemporary Art Market and Deck The Walls exhibition, 44AD artspace, Bath
44AD artspace’s annual Bath Humbug Contemporary Art Market includes paintings, printed cards, artist books, printmaking, textiles, ceramics and glass and showcases a range of affordable contemporary art and design by artists working at the Bath-based studios. Also taking place in the lead up to Christmas, ‘Deck The Walls’ will see 44AD artspace’s gallery converted in to a ‘quasi record store extravaganza’ to showcase works by over 30 artists with editions selling at £33 and original works costing just £78.

This informal network of artists based across north east Scotland hosts its first Christmas Pop Up weekend with open studios taking place around the town of Ellon in Aberdeenshire. With ten individual and shared studio spaces taking part, this is a chance to meet artists and makers in their studios and buy works direct. Fire Station Creative Open Studios 2019, Dunfermline
Including artists and makers working in painting, textile design, graphic design, illustration, jewellery, ceramics and photography, this year’s Open Studios event at Fire Station Creative will also include a prize draw which all visitors can enter. The prize is a £50 voucher to spend in any studio. Exhibiting artists include jeweller Caroline Finlay, illustrator and digital graphic and web designer Tom Crielly, painter and tutor Kelly-Anne Cairns and studio jeweller Angela Learoyd.
