For the third in this year’s series on Christmas selling fairs and promotions, we profile a range of special edition artworks and designer-maker wares in Bexhill-on-Sea, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Liverpool and London.

Oh So Crafty Christmas, Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff
Hand-made jewellery, vintage clothes, craft textiles and homeware gifts are available in Chapter’s Caffi Bar this Saturday as part of a special Christmas weekend. Beautiful lighting products by Kirsty and anthropological artefact-inspired jewellery by Sophie Buckingham are just some of the treasures handpicked for this one-day craft fair. If you’ve already done all your Christmas shopping and are feeling peckish, the Sunday promises a festive food fair and numerous craft activities.

Hotel Elephant Shop launch, London
Elephant & Castle’s artist-led gallery and studios have relocated from the former doctor’s surgery on Heygate Estate to two adjoining warehouses behind 40-42 Newington Causeway. Approximately 15,000sqft will contain a gallery/cinema space, studios and hire space, while No. 18 Newington Causeway will be a dedicated coffee bar and shop selling works by designer-makers and artists from Southwark and beyond. Launching this Friday, inaugural works available for purchase in the shop include a limited print edition from Amy Pennington’s Save Old Flo series and Reuben Powell’s rendition of the Heygate Estate.

5th Birthday Editions, Eastside Projects, Birmingham
Eastside Projects are celebrating their fifth birthday with a new range of editions by artists including Simon & Tom Bloor, Ruth Claxton, Celine Condorelli, Heather & Ivan Morison and Gavin Wade. These prints and objects are available at a special price until 31 December. Elsewhere, artists from Eastside’s associates programme Extra Special People (ESP) will be trading art. Based in the Library of Birmingham until 15 December, the artists invite you to bring along an item to swap for a work of art. A thrifty way to stock up on Christmas gifts!

Edinburgh Printmakers online shop
Edinburgh Printmakers are offering something special for Christmas with a range of print editions and artists’ books. Hot off the press, Andrew MacKenzie has just published a new edition of ‘river’ prints and there are several wonderful works by the late John Bellany. Also available are a selection of art and gifts for under £50 including Susie Wilson’s equisite bookwork and Jonathan P Bishop’s tea towels.

Liverpool Biennial limited edition print
Richard Woods has created a signed and numbered edition of 50 prints for Liverpool Biennial. Big L recalls Woods’ 2008 commission for the biennial, Innovation-Investment-Progress. A repeat pattern and series of feel-good logos citing mantras such as ‘innovation’, ‘progress’ and ‘build’ took the form of an installation in the city’s iconic former Rapid Hardware store.

De La Warr Pavilion shop, Bexhill-on-Sea
Open every day until Christmas, De La Warr Pavilion promises to be an enticing day trip to the seaside combined with exhibition visit and Christmas shopping. The DLWP shop holds an array of new products while alongside the current exhibition, Alison Turnbull has created a pair of limited edition prints. Mendelsohn’s Attic 1 and 2 are directly inspired by this unique modernist arts venue, revealing sections of De La Warr Pavilion’s usually hidden roof space.
