In the Spotlight
Et in Arcadia lego, Paul Collinson‘s large-scale photo realist painting (pictured below), has been given a whole room to itself at Dean Clough Galleries, following its appearance in the John Moores exhibition. Deciphering the ideology of landscape, Collinson’s starting point for his paintings are scale models he constructs himself.

West Dean Design and Craft Fair
100 makers and designers will be selling their work, selected by the people behind the MADE Art Fair brand. The fair will also feature live music from The FB Pocket Orchestra, entry to the West Dean Gardens (included in the fair’s ticket price), food stalls and a vintage tea room.

Gathered Again
An exhibition of alumni from Swansea’s Foundation Art and Design course celebrates over 105 years of ‘the Foundation pattern’ of teaching in the city. Alongside the exhibition, the short film, Fire Green as Grass, reflects on the life of Osi Rhys Osmond (pictured below), a painter and lecturer on the Swansea Foundation course between 1996 to 2012 who passed away in March this year, aged 71.

Weather Station (Part 1)
The mobile pavilion Weather Station will begin its journey around the South West of England with an exhibition at the OSR Project Space, bringing together works by Jethro Brice, Simon Lee Dicker and Alexander Stevenson. A cumulative project (pictured above), the artist-led weather station will be passed on and hosted by a range of artists and arts organisations, gathering traces and building up a dialogue around flooding and extreme weather conditions.
