GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
Aphrodite Papadatou’s expressive, contorted, Egon Schiele-esque paintings depict a range of female characters, charting a range of emotions and experiences that tell a story of coming of age and sexuality – or as the artist puts it ‘GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS is a war cry – a shout of liberation from chains of all kinds’.
