Usurp Zone5 Film Festival
Over 80 experimental shorts from filmmakers and artists from 15 countries including Japan and Peru. This international festival brings a host of experiences to Harrow, including spatial sound exploration, post-internet performative actions and clandestine video art.

Making up for Lost Time
Stockport Art Gallery is presenting an exhibition of paintings by Manchester and North Shropshire-based artist Ian Rayer-Smith. These abstract works, both large and small-scale, draw inspiration from Old Masters and abstract expressionism.

Summer Art Trail

Urban Loneliness
London-based Polish painter Gosia Lapsa-Malawska‘s monochrome series Urban Loneliness takes inspiration from observation of how individuals negotiate the anonymity of crowds and everyday city life; a meditation on the choices, proactive and passive, that lead to this.
