Nicklin Unseen
Birmingham’s Snow Hill Square will host an outdoor exhibition of 50 photographs (pictured above) that chart the changes to the city between 1953-69. The photographer and geography tutor, Phyllis Nicklin, documented and analysed the changing urban and suburban landscape as major new roads, housing estates and tower blocks, schools and shops rapidly rose up.
