You’re Surrounded by Me
Works by Chris Alton, Liam Geary Baulch, Naomi Fitzsimmons, Katherine Midgley and Jasleen Kaur shine a light on aspects of our society and environment that are so pervasive that they become imperceptible. The visible yet invisible impacts of rising sea levels, increasing privatisation and the proliferation of stock imagery are just some of the themes that the five artists touch on in this group exhibition.
27 July – 8 September 2017, Turf Projects, Keeley Road, Croydon

Littoral Light
A twilight art exhibition from the artist collective Article 10, who return to Ramsgate Beach for a second year running to curate a transitory evening of light-based works. With three times as many artists as last year drawn from the UK, New York, Ireland and Japan, performance and sound art will accompany the temporary light sculptures and installations that will flood the beach before the tide comes back in.

Laboratory of Dark Matters
Following their research trip to Boulby Mine and an experimental residency at Guest Projects in London, the artists from the Laboratory of Dark Matters present the resulting works at the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum. These artworks have been inspired by dialogue with scientists who work on dark matter detection and a visit 1100m underground within the UK’s deepest working mine.
26 July – 2 September 2017, Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum, Deepdale Mill Lane, Skinningrove, Cleveland
