13.04.12 – Making and funding work: Crowdfunding is a series of seminars, as part of the Granted professional development programme from a-n The Artists Information Company. Sponsored and supported by a-n, AIR, Artquest, A+, ArtWorks and WeDidThis.
The seminars enable artists and arts organisers to improve pitching and fundraising capacity by attracting the collaborators that can make new projects happen.
Making and funding work: Crowdfunding is:
– Hands-on: learn how put your ideas across when seeking funding.
– Intensive and personalised: each session is limited to a small group; e-follow up helps you to hone your proposals.
– Expert: with advice and tips from Hen Norton of crowdfunding site WeDidThis.
Here’s what artists and collaborators are saying about Making and funding work: Crowdfunding:
“Really useful to work on other artists’ projects and have ‘fresh eyes’ on my own project”.
“Made me realise that I need to work on how to explain my ideas to others.”
