Six artists – Liz Brown, Liana Bortolozzo, Esperanza Gomez Carrera, Christina Lovey, Louise Schillitoe-Brown and Ahmed Farooqui– have each taken on the challenge of creating an artwork that as objectively as possible investigates their own self. The results include mathematical interpretations of personal relationships, a map of a life, marks of ageing and a lifetime’ss collection of images, and are displayed among the living quarters of this north London townhouse.

The Launch of Gallery FRANK
To celebrate the refurbishment and naming of their new gallery space, the artists of Ebor Studio have launched a three-month programme of exhibitions, workshops and events that takes a looks at the history and heritage of Ebor Mill through a range of objects, photographs and interviews as well as an exhibition of works by current studio artists.

Artist’s Talk: Harminder Judge
A collaboration between Meadow Arts and Hereford College of Arts sees artist Harminder Judge give a presentation on his practice, which encompasses performance, installation and animation. Judge has previously worked with Meadow Arts in 2013 when he was commissioned to create the film Bilocation about India and the UK.

Salon des Refusés
The annual exhibition of artworks refused from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition returns for its seventh outing. Includes Beverley-based artist Trevor Dingle’s ‘Persistence of Vision: Naked in the City of Culture’, which unlike Spencer Tunick’s naked sea of people, depicts naked shop dummies on display during Hull’s year as UK City of Culture.
