Exchanging Notes with China
This symposium brings together British and Chinese artists and curators to continue a dialogue surrounding ‘the radical creativity of art practice’. Stemming from exchange exhibitions and visits between Xi’an in China and the UK, the symposium runs alongside the Contemporary Chinese Works on Paper exhibition, currently on display at the UCS Waterfront Gallery.

Art, Science, Tech
An evening of performances and screenings from Larry Achiampong and David Blandy, Semiconductor and Feng Mengbo that use technology to consider science and culture. Mengbo, who is flying in from Being to present his immersive real-time performance, has been experimenting with video games as a tool for filmmaking since 1999, recently expanding to encompass mobile communication technology and augmented reality.

theBLOC
The artists from Elysium Studios have opened theBLOC, a new exhibition and selling space in Swansea, in collaboration with Elysium Gallery and Coastal Housing Group. A range of affordable artworks, including prints and paintings will be presented during a programme of exhibitions that changes fortnightly.
